Feb 24th, 2011 by James Fraser | 0

Congratulations to Mont-Tremblant skier ERIK GUAY

Erik Guay, local skier from Mont-Tremblant, beame the World Champion of Downhill Skiiing last week, in Germany. Guay, 29, has been skiing and training hard to win this title and we are really proud of him. Despite severe back injuries, he kept his goal in mind, and surpassed every skier on the slope. Guay made the 3km long descent in 1:58:41 seconds! He feels at ease and confident on this slope of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, so it helped him to give the absolute power to his descent, finishing in front of the Swiss veteran Didier Cuche.

Tremblant Living team congratulates its champion, and woshes him the best of lucks for all up-coming international competitions!
